The Gilroy Library serves 58,101 residents in the City of Gilroy and is a part of the Santa Clara County Library District. The Library System maintains 2.3 million volumes and circulates 10.5 million items per year. Gilroy Library provides books, music, movies, and DVDs for all ages, as well as meeting rooms with dedicated children and teens areas, public internet computers with software, and free WiFi. It offers after-hours book return, digital literacy class sessions in Spanish, online English Conversation Cub, and other library events.
