The El Gabilan Library serves 162,790 residents in the City of Salinas, Monterey County. The library is a division of the Salinas Public Library, which maintains 190,800 volumes and circulates 361,121 items per year. The El Gabilan Branch offers books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, music CDs, audiobooks, video games, and reference materials and houses a Digital Studio computer lab and Makerspace, meeting and study rooms, public computers, and a children's area equipped with early literacy computer stations. In addition, it provides WiFi, homebound services, storytime, computer classes, and other library events.
