The Donna and John Crean Mariners Branch Library serves over 84,700 residents of Newport Beach City in Orange County, southern California. The library is a division of the Newport Beach Public Library housed in a joint-use 15,000-square-foot building that serves the public and students at Mariners Elementary School. The library system maintains more than 242,500 volumes and circulates roughly 1.5 million items per year. The Mariner branch began in 1963 and continues to provide resources, services, and a range of events to its patrons, including storytime, reading exercises, Lego clubs, and crafts.
