The Community Center Branch Library System is a publicly funded and managed library serving more than 44,000 residents in the city of El Centro, the county seat of Imperial County, California. As an affiliate library of the El Centro Public Library, Community Center Branch contributes to the overall collection and services of the whole El Centro library system, which include more than 35,000 total circulations, almost 99,000 book and serial volumes, more than 1,000 audio files, and more than 5,600 video files. Founded in 1906 with a mission to provide quality materials and programs to meet the educational, informational, cultural, and recreational needs of our diverse community. Additionally, it has more than 82,000 visits and 4,268 registered borrowers.
