The Carmel Valley Branch Library serves 42,047 residents in Carmel Valley and is a part of the San Diego Public Library. The Library System maintains 5.2 million volumes and circulates 6.8 million items annually. In addition to the traditional resources, the Carmel Valley Branch offers 11 public computers, a meeting room, WiFi, an outdoor patio, children's and teens' spaces, storytime for all ages, book clubs, and other library events.
