The Belle Cooledge Library serves 525,041 residents in the City of Sacramento and is a part of the Sacramento Public Library. The Library System maintains 1.4 million volumes and circulates 7.4 million items per year. In addition to the traditional library resources, the Belle Cooledge Library provides 20 Internet & Microsoft Office workstations, two Early Learning workstations, a bookstore, a Printer/Copier, WiFi, four Netbook laptops, vehicle charging stations,  a Meeting room, Family storytime, and other library events.
