The Bell Gardens Library serves 42,000 residents in the Bell Gardens neighborhood of Los Angeles County. The library belongs to the Los Angeles County Library, which maintains 5.3 million volumes and circulates 16.5 million items per year. Bell Gardens Library opened its doors in 1938 on Live Oak Street and now occupies a 5,119-square-foot building on Garden Avenue. It has collections of books and DVDs in Spanish, online materials, eight Public computers, 2 Children's computers, 8 Laptop and Hotspot Kits, and 2 Early Learning computers. The library also provides homework help, book drop, in-person and telephone research assistance, and photocopying services.
