The Vallejo John F. Kennedy Library serves 124,888 residents in the City of Vallejo. The Library is a part of Solano County Library, which maintains 534,212 volumes and circulates 1.8 million items annually. Opened in 1970, the John F. Kennedy Library offers books, videos, CDs, and DVDs and houses the McCune Collection, Makerspace, Seed Library, and Mare Island repository of documents. It also provides 30 Computers with Microsoft Office suite and Internet access, WiFi, two microform reader-printers, storytimes, wireless printing, and a meeting room - the Joseph Room featuring a baby grand piano, data drop, and meeting tables and chairs.
