The West University Branch Library serves about 4.7 million residents in Houston and is part of the Harris County Public Library. It maintains 45,355 volumes and circulates 338,595 items per year, including fiction, nonfiction, movies, TVs, and electronic items. The library is housed in a 6,100-square-foot building and provides public computers, a print station, a scanner, school tours, adult literacy services, English Learning (ESL) classes, and exam proctoring. It also partners with the City of West University to offer a variety of programs.
