The West Irving Library is part of the Irving Public Library serving over 254,000 residents in the City of Irving, Dallas County. The Library System maintains 535,445 volumes and circulates over 1.3 million items per year, including print and digital resources. West Irving Branch has a PC lab with public computers, tablets for in-library use, a TeenScene area, WiFi, four study rooms, self-check stations, and scan/fax/print devices. It also offers toddler storytime, family storytime, and other library services. The MiY Zone West at the West Irving Library features a Digitization Lab with technology equipment for children and adults.
