The Vineland Branch Library is part of the San Jose Public Library, serving over 971,300 residents in the City of San Jose. The Library System maintains 1.6 million volumes and circulates 11.5 million items per year. Vineland Branch Library has collections of books, audiobooks, music, and DVDs. It houses a seed library and allows patrons access to a new variety of seeds monthly, including Arugula, Cabbage, California Native Plants, Carrots, Eggplant, Flowers, Lettuce, Spinach, Thyme, Onion, Pepper, Peas, and Radish. Vineland Branch Library provides community and group study rooms, computers with printers, wireless internet access, one-on-one tech help, family time, and other library events and services.
