The Theodore Johns Library is part of the Beaumont Public Library System, serving about 112,000 residents in the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County. The Library System operates six locations, which include the Theodore Johns Library, Elmo Willard Library, R.C. Miller Library, Beaumont Public Library, Tyrrell Historical Library, and the Maurine Gray Literacy Center. It maintains 272,698 volumes and circulates 508,446 items per year. Theodore Johns Library opened its doors in 2002 and now has over 57,000 titles, audiobooks, DVDs, Blu-ray, and movies. It offers 12 computers for public use, copying services, a meeting room, interlibrary loans, weekly storytime, and monthly movie matinee.
