The Spring Branch Memorial Branch Library serves over 2.1 million residents in the City of Houston and is a part of the Harris County Public Library. The library is publicly funded and holds collections of 82,800 volumes, with 478,300 items circulated each year. The Current Spring Branch Library opened its doors in 1975 and has since expanded its offerings to include new library resources, computer and technology classes, English Language (ESL) classes, school tours, and proctoring services.
