The South County Library, known as the Arroyo Grande Library, serves 18,456 residents in the City of Arroyo Grande. The Library is a part of the County of San Luis Obispo Library System, which maintains 375,275 volumes and circulates over 2.4 million items per year. The Arroyo Grande Library provides books on CD, movies, newspapers, large prints, Spanish language collections, and local history resources, including South County history books and high school yearbooks. It is housed in a 12,000-square-foot building and provides five Chromebooks, public computers, WiFi, book club kits, and memory kits. Arroyo Grande Library also offers storytimes, a Lego club, art exhibits, passport services, State and County Park passes, wireless printing services, and programming for children and adults.
