The South Branch Library serves 148,000 residents in the City of Denton and is one of the Denton Public Libraries. The library system maintains 195,700 volumes and circulates 1.8 million items per year, including world language collections. The library provides nonfiction book clubs, comics, baby storytime programs, and other library events. In addition, it provides meeting rooms, mobile printing, and interlibrary loan services.
