The Molly Pruitt Library at Roosevelt High School is a dual-purpose school and public library under the San Antonio Public Library, serving the residents of San Antonio in Bexar County. The San Antonio Public Library serves over 1.4 million people, maintains 1.8 million volumes, and circulates over 7.3 million items annually. Opened in October 2009, Molly Pruitt Library occupies a 12,693-square-foot building, which has meeting and conference rooms, a study room, and a children's area. It provides access to the Roosevelt High School books and the San Antonio Public Library resources, including books in different formats, juvenile fiction and nonfiction, paperbacks, graphic novels, CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays, and Spanish books for kids and teens. In addition, it offers public computers, various literacy programs, and curbside services.
