The Richard Burges Branch Library serves 678,800 residents in the City of El Paso and is one of the El Paso Public Libraries. The library holds collections of 605,800 books and serial volumes, 8,400 electronic books, 25,920 audio materials, and about 43,200 videos. It circulates over 1.7 million items per year. Richard Burges provides Passport services, Storytimes, Tween and Teen Hangouts, Community Chess club, and Adult Education, including Citizenship, English and Spanish conversation, and Bilingual Basic Computer Skills classes.
