The Mitchell Park Library is a branch of the Palo Alto City Library that serves the citizens of Palo Alto in Santa Clara County, California. The library system houses around 251,000 volumes and circulates approximately 1.5 million items per year, including books, audiobooks, eBooks, periodicals, newspapers, music, movies, and TV shows for people of all ages. The branch first opened its doors in 1958 and is now part of a new joint library and community center building that includes public art space and meeting rooms. It also provides family storytime, sewing lessons, computers, WiFi, and technology services.
