The Long Beach Public Library began about 125 years ago and currently serves more than 460,000 residents in the Long Beach area, Los Angeles County. Each year, the library maintains over 760,000 volumes and circulates over 1.5 million items while allowing free access to books, audiobooks, magazines, and other content for all library card holders.
