The Holly Community Library serves residents in the city of Holly Lake Ranch, an unincorporated and gated golf course community run by a homeowners' association in the Wood County region of Texas. Opened for more than 43 years, the Holly Community Library has assisted over 3,000 users. Its only employees are volunteers, and all its running costs, including rent, supplies, and the purchase of best-sellers, talking books, and audiovisual equipment, are covered by contributions.
