The Florence Library is a branch of the Los Angeles County Library that serves 46,000 residents in the Florence neighborhood of Los Angeles City. The library system maintains 5.3 million volumes and circulates 16.5 million items annually. Florence Library started in 1970 in its current 7,970-square-foot building, which has a study room, spaces for children and teens, and collections of Spanish books and DVDs. It has seven Public computers, eight Laptop and Hotspot Kits, three Early Learning computers, five Teen computers, and six Children's computers, and offers research assistance, homework help, and photocopying services.
