The Fairbanks Branch of the Harris County Public Library serves the residents in some parts of Houston. The library maintains 52,600 volumes and circulates over 309,900 items per year. Founded in 1922, the Fairbanks Branch Library provides fiction and nonfiction books, audiobooks, movies, music, computers, technology services, reading therapy, chess club, and early literacy programs.
