The Elmo R Willard Branch Library serves over 112,000 residents in the City of Beaumont and is a Beaumont Public Library branch. As an affiliate of the Library System, it contributes some parts to the 272,698 volumes maintained by the Library System and 508,446 items circulated annually. Elmo R Willard Branch Library opened in 1998 and was named for the late civil rights lawyer and Beaumont native Theodore R. Johns. It houses about 51,000 titles, including collections of books, eBooks, DVDs, Blu-ray, audiobooks, and magazines. It offers 10 public computing stations, internet access, WiFi, printing and copying services, and a children's section with a storytelling stage.
