The Clifton Branch Library is part of the Wayne County Library System that serves 2,600 residents in the City of Clifton. The library holds collections of 30,300 book and serial volumes, 84,300 electronic books, 950 audio, and 2,400 videos, and it circulates over 37,000 items per year. The Clifton Branch was opened in 1996 and is housed in three rooms on the lower floor of the historical T.S. Stribling house, which also houses the Stribling Museum. In addition to traditional library resources, it provides children's summer reading programs, public computers, access to copy and fax machines, and free WiFi services.
