The East Branch Library serves the residents of Nashville City in Davidson County, TN. The library began in 1919 and is one of the Carnegie libraries listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Its collections include more than 1.6 million books and serial volumes, and over 4.6 million items are circulated annually. It occupies a modern building featuring public computers, Wi-Fi, oak tables and chairs, meeting rooms, and large chandeliers. Library hours are from Monday through Saturday.
