The Pruitt Library is a branch of the Nashville Public Library, named in honor of the State legislator and his wife, Charles W. and Mary Pruitt. The library serves the residents in the City of Nashville, providing them with tutoring, homework assistance, and an adult literacy program in addition to traditional library services. Patrons use the library's public computers, wireless internet, meeting spaces, and printing and copying facilities. The library currently occupies a 12,210 square feet area and also houses the Pruitt Homework Center.
