The Villard Square Branch Library, one of the 14 affiliate libraries under the Milwaukee Public Library (MPL), serves residents in Milwaukee, a city in the state of Wisconsin on Lake Michigan's western shore. The Villard Square Branch is a mixed-use structure featuring 47 apartments for families with grandparents who are the primary caregivers for their grandchildren on the three stories above the first-floor Milwaukee Public Library branch. The old branch at 3310 West Villard Avenue was replaced by the new version at 5190 N. 35th Street. Self-checkout counters, community gathering and study areas, children's and teen spaces, and desktop and laptop computers are all available for customer use at the 12,770 square foot Villard Square Branch. A 32-space on-site parking lot is accessible, where curbside pickup may also be available.
