The Meadowridge Branch Library, a publicly funded and managed library and an affiliate library of the Madison Public Library (MPL), serves almost 260,000 residents in Madison, which is west of Milwaukee and the capital city of Wisconsin. In 2014, it was relocated to its current location to better serve the community. The Mesadowridge Branch is only one of the eight branches—plus a central library—MPL, and the Dream Bus, with a total aggregated visits of more than 2.1 million and more than 163,000 registered borrowers. Additionally, it contributes to the overall collection and services of MPL, which maintains more than 600,000 book and serial volumes; a little more than 120,000 electronic books; more than 72,000 audio and more than 88,000 video collections; and circulates more than four million items per year.
