The Bay View Branch Library is one of the locations of the Milwaukee Public Library, which serves 569,330 residents in the City of Milwaukee. The library system maintains over 1.8 million volumes and circulates 2.8 million items per year. Bay View Branch was opened in 1993 to replace Llewellyn Library, which served the neighborhood from 1914. It provides graphic novels, Chromebooks, Hotspots for checkout, Laptops, a Computer lab with desktop computers for public use, free Wi-Fi, meeting spaces, faxing, scanning, and printing services. Curbside pick-up, weekly storytime, book discussions, and other programming events for all ages are also available at the Branch.
