Thomas Memorial Branch Library serves 1,816 residents of Bluff City and is part of the Sullivan County Public Library. The Library System maintains 132,178 volumes and circulates 171,884 items per year. The Branch Library was founded in 1973 and opened in its current location at Cedar Street in 1982. It offers print books, large prints, books on tape, CDs, DVDs, microfilm, newspapers, magazines, reference materials, computers, and a copier, as well as Summer Reading programs and other literacy events.
