The South Rockwood Branch Library serves over 1,590 residents in South Rockwood Village and is a part of the Monroe County Library System. The library system maintains 482,921 volumes and circulates 1.4 million items per year. South Rockwood branch was a bookmobile in the South Rockwood Post Office before it opened at the South Rockwood Community facility in 1952. It provides four public computers, Fax and Copy Machines, free Wireless Internet, and one library online catalog computer.
