The Carleton Branch Library serves 2,345 residents in the City of Carleton and is a part of the Monroe County Library System. The library system maintains 482,921 volumes and circulates over 1.4 million items annually. The Carleton Branch is one of the first branches opened in 1934. It offers books, magazines, newspapers, movies, music CDs, four public computers with Internet access, faxing/photocopying, weekly literacy programs, book clubs, and Summer Reading activities.
