The Algansee Public Library serves 4,230 residents of Quincy Township and is a part of the Branch District Library. The library district maintains over 123,700 volumes and circulates 184,200 items per year, including fiction and nonfiction books, audiobooks, and videos. The publicly funded branch library opened its doors in 1938 and serves as the smallest branch of the County library.
