The Oconee County Library is a part of the Athens Regional Library System that serves about 2,930 residents in the City of Watkinsville. The library system maintains 348,190 volumes and circulates 1.4 million items per year, including materials for children and adults. In addition to picture books, sturdy board books, chapter books, graphic novels, audiobooks, magazines, and non-fiction collections, the Oconee County Library offers storytimes, crafternoon events, book clubs, and other library events. It also provides computers for public use, WiFi, faxing, printing, and scanning services, and a meeting room.
