The South Georgia Regional Library, formerly Lowndes-Echols-Lanier Regional Library, is a six-member library system serving about 125,750 residents in the city of Valdosta, Lowndes County. The library maintains 217,850 volumes and circulates 340,330 items per year, including books, audiobooks, periodicals, audio CDs, DVDs, and VHS tapes. Services available to the public include meeting rooms, study areas, desktop computers, WiFi, printing, and scanning, as well as a public notary, test proctoring, and various library events for children, teens, and adults.
