The R.T. Jones Memorial Library is a branch of the Sequoyah Regional Library System that serves about 274,000 residents in the City of Canton in Cherokee County. The library system consists of three counties and has approximately 298,000 volumes with a total annual circulation of 991,614 items. The System's headquarters is the R.T Jones Memorial Library, which houses print books, CDs, DVDs, cassette recordings and videos, eBooks, and a seed library. In addition, it offers public computers, internet access, office services, and a range of events and services, including Family Storytime, Agriculture Storytime, Drop-in Genealogy, Book Club, Crafters Club, and Medicare educational sessions.
