The Ashley County Library serves about 2,469 residents in the city of Hamburg, the county seat of Ashley County. The library maintains more than 50,000 books and serial volumes and circulates about 75,392 items per year, including fiction and nonfiction books, audiobooks, DVDs, and genealogy resources. It is housed in a brick building behind Donut Express and offers events for kids and adults during library hours, Monday to Friday.
