The Washington Memorial Library serves over 153,000 residents in Macon City and is one of the Bibb County Libraries and part of the Middle Georgia Regional Library. The Library System maintains 511,243 volumes and circulates approximately 1.1 million items annually. Washington Memorial Library houses the Genealogy & History Room, a Computer Lab, a Children's Room, and three Computer Study Rooms. It offers a wide range of programs and services for all ages, including Book Club, Storytime, Lego Nights, Cybersecurity Basics, Game Nights, and Yoga.
