The Walker Memorial Branch Library, known as the North Muskegon Branch, serves 37,552 residents in the City of Muskegon. The library belongs to the Muskegon Area District Library and holds collections of print books and digital resources, with approximately 80,000 items circulated annually. It opened its doors in October 1969 and is located near the North Muskegon Public Schools. It has seven public computers with Internet and Office products, free WiFi, a Makerbot 3-D printer, and a seed library where patrons can access vegetable, fruits, herb and flower seeds. North Muskegon Branch Library offers faxing/printing/copying services, an annual Easter Egg Drop, book sales, Summer reading programs, and other library events.
