The Traverse Area District Library serves over 97,000 residents of Traverse City and Grand Traverse County, Michigan. The library system comprises six community libraries, which include the Main Library in Traverse City, the East Bay Branch Library, the Kingsley Branch Library, the Fife Lake Public Library, the Interlochen Public Library, and the Peninsula Community Library. It maintains roughly 280,500 volumes and circulates approximately 1.4 million items in a fiscal year, including regular books, audiobooks, periodicals, CDs, and DVDs. The library offers room reservations, public computers, wireless internet access, printing (including wireless), copying, scanning, and laminating services. Additionally, it hosts health & wellness, book club, storytime, and technology programs.
