The Summerfield-Petersburg Branch Library serves 1,180 residents in the City of Petersburg and is part of the Munroe County Library. The Library System maintains 482,920 volumes and circulates approximately 1.4 million items per year. Summerfield-Petersburg Branch Library opened its doors in 1936 and holds collections of fiction and nonfiction books, magazines, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, and digital resources. It offers a community room, public computers, Summer Reading programs, Storytime, Homework Help, Book Clubs, and other library events.
