The Williams Family Seymour Branch Library, one of three locations of the Sevier County Public Library System, serves 15,400 residents of Seymour. The library maintains 125,480 books and serial volumes, 5,000 audio, 11,000 videos, and 84,470 electronic books, and it circulates 264,450 items per year. The Seymour Branch began as a Bookmobile in 1977 and has since grown to occupy a facility of more than 3,500 square feet. It offers computer classes, drop-in computer assistance, and a variety of programs for all ages.
