The Russell Library serves about 47,000 residents in Middletown, Middlesex County, Connecticut. The library, which began as a reading room 150 years ago, now maintains over 160,000 volumes and circulates approximately 585,000 items per year. Its items include books, audiobooks, magazines, DVDs, and museum passes. The library provides meeting rooms, quiet study spaces, and a digital lab, along with copy/print/scan services, curbside pickup, doorstep delivery, and other library services and programs.
