The Rasey Memorial Branch Library is a part of the Monroe County Library System that serves 1,373 residents in the City of Luna Pier. The library system maintains 482,921 volumes and circulates over 1.4 million items per year, including books, movies, music, and electronic resources. The Rasey Memorial Branch first opened in 1935 as the Luna Pier branch library and became the Rasey Memorial Library in April 1966 after it moved to a newly remodeled building. It provides fiction and nonfiction books, magazines, reference materials, internet access, book clubs, and monthly programs.
