The Ojibwa Community Library serves 1,918 residents in the City of Baraga and the members of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community. The library is affiliated with the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community and is a part of the KBIC's Education Department. It maintains over 15,250 volumes in its collection, which includes fiction and nonfiction books, audiobooks, DVDs, and native American collections. Opened in 2002, the Ojibwa Community Library offers free library membership and is open from 9 AM Monday to Saturday. It provides six public computers, WiFi, inter-library loans, access to the Great Lakes Digital Library, reading activities, and other library events for all ages.
