The Lake George Branch Library is a public-funded and managed library that serves residents in the city of Lake George in Park County, Colorado. As one of the branch libraries of Park County Public Libraries, founded in 1966, the Lake George started serving while occupying half of one of the classrooms of the Lake George Charter School in 1981. Today it is still a vibrant center of the community, and students are bussed to the library to check out books. Additionally, it adds to the county system's overall resources, which include nearly 44,000 books and serial volumes, more than 11,000 e-books, more than 1,000 audio files, and a little over 8,000 video files. Also, the library system saw more than 53,000 visitors annually, more than 78,000 items circulated, and over 12,000 registered borrowers.
