The Cherry Valley Elementary Library is a public library serving more than 200 residents in the city of Franktown in Douglas County, Colorado. It is an affiliate branch of the Douglas County Libraries, which was founded in 1987. Cherry Valley Elementary was opened in response to the rising demand for library services and a larger area. It adds to the county system's overall resources, which include more than 500,000 books and serial volumes, more than 57,000 e-books, nearly 70,000 audio files, and more than 98,000 video files. Also, the library system saw more than 1.9 million visitors annually, more than 7.8 million items circulated, and over 200,000 registered borrowers.
