The Fairplay Branch Library is one of the branches affiliated with Park County Public Libraries, founded in 1966, that serves residents in the city of Fairplay in Park County, Colorado. As one of the branch libraries of Park County Public Libraries, founded in 1966, the Fairplay started a bookmobile stop in 1986. Today, it occupies the upper floor of the old courthouse. Furthermore, it expands the county system's entire collection of resources, which now numbers over 11,000 e-books, over 1,000 audio files, and just over 8,000 video files, in addition to almost 44,000 books and serial volumes. More than 53,000 people visit the library system each year; more than 78,000 items are checked out; and more than 12,000 people register as borrowers.
