The Jackson District Library comprises 13 community libraries serving over 160,240 residents in Jackson, Michigan. The library partners and shares both bibliographic and patron databases with Jackson Community College, giving users access to resources from both institutions. The library maintains a collection of 423,500 volumes and circulates approximately 860,660 items annually, including books, audiobooks, graphic novels, movies, newspapers, magazines, video games, and mobile hotspots. Services available to the public include meeting rooms, computers, Wi-Fi access, copy/print/fax facilities, and a variety of library events. At the Meijer Branch, the library also operates a Digital Studio equipped with interactive spaces and digital equipment for hands-on learning.
