The Hall County Library System serves about 210,600 residents in the city of Gainesville. The library system includes the Gainsville Branch serving as the headquarters, the Spout Springs Branch, the Blackshear Branch, the Murrayville Branch, and the North Hall Tech Center. Approximately 312,750 volumes are maintained by the library and 874,267 items are circulated annually, including print and digital materials. Hall County Library provides meeting and study rooms, internet access, proctoring, passport services, notary, one-on-one tech help, computer classes, book club, storytime, and other library programs for all ages.
